FUNDS & RESOURCES Funding Youth Activity Fund Youth Activity Fund grants are made to full-time high school and undergraduate college students to enable them to participate in field research in the natural sciences under the supervision of a qualified scientist or institution. Research stipend amounts typically range from $500 to $1500. You do not need to be a member of The Explorers Club to apply. If awarded a grant, you will also be awarded a one-year student membership in the Club. Grant recipients are expected to submit a Grant Expedition Report, with photographs if possible, within six months after completing their fieldwork. The report should include an itemized statement of expenses. Download the Application Form for 2007 Applications are now open for the 2007 award. The deadline is 5:00pm on January 15, 2007 for all application materials. Award recipients will be notified no later than May 1, 2007. The form includes complete instructions.
