Veterans Archive

The Library and Archives Committee at The Explorers Club is building a permanent archive honoring members who are veterans of wars.

Please take some time to compile the following and send into the club in hard copy form or by e-mail attachment.  Photographs can be included.

Include your name, branch of service, rank, county and time of service.  It is not necessary that you have seen combat.

Also, and this is most important, include your experiences, memories, reflections and honors.  This is an open-ended request.  We want your stories.

We are encouraging participation by our non-US members as well as our US members.

Our club has something similar on file from about 50 WWI veterans.  We have missed some members who participated in WWII and want to pick up now to continue building an ongoing collection for future access by our members, their families, and researchers.

All Explorers Club members are encouraged to send in material on their life experiences for inclusion in their permanent file at The Explorers Club.  This is an ongoing
