A new innovative series of programming is being designed for members by members called TAP - The Apollo Programs.
TAP, The Apollo Programs, will take place on Tuesdays or Wednesday evenings at the Club and will focus on the diverse interests of our members, from Exploration, to Nature, Space, Oceans, Conservation, and many more topics.
The new Apollo Room allows us to create an atmosphere of hospitality and congeniality for people to learn, mix and mingle, not to mention the full use of the bar.
Happy Hours will run from 5:30 - 6:30 pm, and with each program beginning promptly at 7:00 pm.
We are starting on Tuesday, January 28th with the first session moderated by Justin Fornal on The Mysteries of the Explorers Club: Fact or Fiction with expert staff from the Club.
On Tuesday, February 4th there will be a networking event for scuba divers and ocean experts and will include a flag return by Joe Dituri and talk about a quest to live underwater.
On Tuesday, February 11th, we are planning a jam session lead by Ilan Moss, bring your instruments.
On Tuesday, February 18th, we are planning a session on Women in Exploration.
Hands on workshops, a Speakers Corner, Exploration Speed Dating, Musical Jam Sessions, and other networking events are just a few of the ideas our members have suggested.
This series is FREE of charge for Members and their friends - to cover costs, it is hoped that you will support it through the use of the Explorers Club Corner Bar.
Attendance is also of key importance, as we can not run any programs without you, our members! Please join us and bring your friends to make this one of the best features our club offers!
Please email us at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) if you'd like to join for any of the opening sessions - Jan 28, Feb 4, Feb 11, or Feb 18
