In the Footsteps of Basque Whalers in Newfoundland and Labrador

It is with great pleasure that, The Explorers Club/Adventure Canada along with 5A Incentive Planners invite you to the presentation of, "In the Footsteps of Basque Whalers in Newfoundland and Labrador."

The esteemed subaquatic archeologist Robert Grenier and local historical archeologist Dr. Latonia Hartery will discuss the legacy and archeological vestiges of Basque Whalers from the 16th Century in Newfoundland and Labrador. The French explorer Samuel de Champlain described these whalers “as the cleverest men at this fishing."1 An exploration voyage is planned to follow in the footsteps of these "Cleverest Men."

All are invited by the Team at 5A Incentive Planners to attend this discussion and to participate in the inauguration of this new cultural expedition route, "In the Footsteps of Basque Whalers in Newfoundland and Labrador."
