NYC - Lecture Series w/ Robert Mads Anderson

Intesar Haider (left) and Chris Heintz on the first ascent of Castle Peak, Antarctica

Robert Anderson FN’87, Intesar Haider MR’03 and Chris Heintz MR’03 teamed up ten years ago to successfully ascend a new route on Antarctica’s tallest peak, Mt Vinson. This year they returned, and will again bring their story to life at The Explorers Club, each speaking on the tale of their adventure.

From flying off the tip of South America, ice runway landings, to frigid temperatures and avalanches, the team will relate their adventure in a mix of photos, video and first hand accounts of life on the ice.
