In Search of Lewis & Clark with The Explorers Club

July 27th - August 1st, 2013

Join The Explorers Club on June 29th for a five-day journey into time. Our expedition will bring us up the Missouri River by canoe. We will sleep at campsites where the members of the Lewis and Clark expedition slept all those years ago. With open prairies of wild buffalo, rich history, and an exhilarating solitude, this trip will be something to remember.

The Lewis and Clark expedition began and ended their historic journey on the Missouri river.  We will paddle the only portion of that river today that is still wild and camp at Slaughter Creek, exactly where they camped.  Subject to the report of our expedition of a botanist and zoologist, we will add to the worlds knowledge on the change of flora and fauna from 1806 to the present day.  Based on that information, our expedition may apply to the Flag and Honors committee and the Board for a flag.

Cost includes all meals prepared by guides, camping gear, transportation, and canoes (except for transportation to and from Great Falls, Montana and overnight hotel there).

Spots for the trip are filling up fast, so act quickly if you’d like to join us. For more information about In Search of Lewis and Clark, please e-mail .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
The trip cost is $1,200 (not refundable).
