Ken Kamler Reflects on the ‘96 Everest Disaster

Reflecting back on his time as the only doctor on the mountain during the infamous 1996 Everest disaster, Dr. Ken Kamler FR’84 shares his harrowing tale on the bounds of human endurance at the extremes of expedition medicine. Dr. Kamler also recently served as expedition doctor for the Apollo F-1 Search and Recovery Team, which is being awarded the Citation of Merit at the upcoming Annual Dinner.
