Our New Site

Welcome to our new site.

We’ve listened to your requests and wishes and over the past few months we have been busily building a new club website for our members.

We have taken a long hard look at the digital landscape and have developed a series of tools, social media platforms and outlets that will allow our members to generate new expedition ideas, disseminate their expedition reports as well as maintain closer ties with the club going forward. Among those so far developed we have a presence on LinkedIn, Facebook , Youtube and Twitter.

In order to get up to speed on the site and to ensure it is used to it’s fullest over the coming months and years ahead we’re asking you to please register yourselves on the new system. We already have all your details from the current site but by registering again this serves two purposes, firstly it allows us to have an up to date log of all those using the new site and secondly gives you access to an enhanced new members area.

The members area has been developed specifically to allow for easier interaction between you and the club HQ . Initially lots of the content will be hidden from view but over the coming months we’ll be introducing new functionality including a discussion forum, Wiki and 1-2-1 communication tools. In the meantime this area of the site allows for easier ways to pay your annual dues, shop for Explorers Club merchandise, download the journal and gain access to members only content.

We ask you to please fill in as much detail on the profile pages as you can, including the interests section, as this then enables us to really tailor your user experience of the new site as we bring new features, products and offers on board.
